An Inner Rhythms meditation guiding you to discover that softening and expansion are one continuous movement. You begin by bringing a gentle, loving attention to where your body is already softening as you breathe — not trying to change anything, simply noticing. From there the practice moves through your heart centre, feeling what happens there as you soften all around any tightness, warmth, or numbness. Then out to the pores of your skin — your body's permeable membrane — where every pore is breathing and expanding naturally. Finally you bring awareness to the tissues of the throat, creating an open passageway. The deeper you soften around whatever is present, the more your whole system naturally expands, settling your nervous system and bringing you into alignment with a greater intelligence than thought alone.
