The practice begins by tracking where your breath is already flowing in and out, and introduces an optional grounding technique: opening and releasing as you inhale, then gently pressing your hands into the floor or body on the exhale, so that focused contact keeps attention steady without strain. From there you are guided to observe three streams simultaneously — the steady flow of your breath, the steady flow of your attention, and the steady flow of feeling sensations moving through the body — learning to hold all three at once. By training this triple awareness, you build the capacity to remain in flow no matter what circumstances are occurring around you.
