Content categories vs subscription plans
Movement and Meditation are both content categories (how you browse) AND plan names — here is how they relate.
Last updated
Dance Alive has three content categories — Movement, Meditation, and Leadership — visible as tabs in the top nav. We also have three subscription plans — Movement, Meditation, and All Access. Same names in two of the three places, but they're different things.
Content categories — how you browse
The tabs in the top nav are content categories. They group videos by what they're about:
- Movement — physical practice classes
- Meditation — seated and lying-down practices
- Leadership — embodied leadership content
You can browse any category whether or not you're signed in.
Subscription plans — what you can watch
Your plan determines which videos you can actually play:
- Movement plan ($75/mo) — Movement videos + Leadership videos + weekly live classes
- Meditation plan ($75/mo) — Meditation videos + Leadership videos + weekly live classes
- All Access plan ($130/mo) — everything
Leadership content is included with every paid plan, so the third nav tab doesn't have its own plan — it's a content bonus that comes with the other two.
What this means in practice
- If you're on the Movement plan and you click a Meditation video, you'll see an upgrade prompt
- If you're on All Access, you can watch anything in any category
- Browsing categories never gates anything — only pressing play does
