Switching plans or upgrading

You can move between Movement, Meditation, and All Access whenever you like, or switch between monthly and yearly billing. Here's how each direction works.

How to switch

1. Sign in and open Account
2. Under "Subscription", tap Change Plan
3. Your Stripe subscription portal opens
4. Pick the plan you want and confirm

Upgrades and same-price switches — when they take effect

If your new plan's regular price is higher than what you pay now (for example, switching from Movement to All Access), the change takes effect right away. You're charged today for the prorated difference between the two plans for the rest of your current billing period, and your next bill is the normal price of your new plan.

Switching from monthly to yearly billing also raises what you pay per billing period (a full year up front instead of one month), so it takes effect right away too. You're charged today for the difference — the prorated cost of the new plan, less a credit for the unused part of what you already paid.

If your new plan costs the same per billing period as your current one, the change also takes effect right away. The credit for the remainder of your old plan and the charge for the new one cancel out, so there's no net charge that day.

If you're still in your free trial, changing plans doesn't charge you anything until the trial ends.

Downgrades — start of next billing period

If your new plan costs less per billing period than your current one, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You keep your current plan and its full access until then, and nothing is charged or credited before the switch takes effect.

That includes moving from yearly billing to a plan billed monthly, even when the monthly plan covers more — a month costs less per billing period than a year, so the change waits until your next billing period and nothing is charged that day.

This is the standard streaming-membership model — same as how cancellation works.

Annual savings

Yearly billing saves you roughly 10% on Movement and Meditation and about 10% on All Access compared to paying monthly. The exact savings are shown on the plan picker.

If the change doesn't go through

If the new plan doesn't take effect when you expect it to, or the amount looks wrong on the next invoice, contact us and include the plan you tried to switch to.
