Linking your Mindbody account
Your Dance Alive account uses Mindbody for sign-in. Here is how the connection works.

Dance Alive is built on top of Mindbody for member records and in-studio access. When you sign in here, you're really signing in with your Mindbody account.
How linking works
Linking happens once, when you sign up:
- You start at /signup and pick a plan
- You're sent to Mindbody to sign in (or create a Mindbody account if you don't have one)
- You're brought back to Dance Alive automatically — your accounts are now linked
There's no "Link Mindbody account" button anywhere else. The connection is created at signup and stays in place.
What gets shared between the two systems
- Your name and email
- Your Mindbody client ID (an internal reference number)
- Class history pulled from Mindbody shows up under your profile
- In-app class reservations push back to Mindbody
Payment details are not shared between systems. Streaming membership is billed through Stripe; passes you buy on Mindbody (drop-ins, workshops, intensives) stay on Mindbody. See How Stripe and Mindbody billing work together.
If something's wrong
If sign-in fails or your account looks empty when you sign back in, the link may have broken. Contact us and include the email you use for Mindbody — we'll fix it from our side.
